Three Levels of Sedation

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is a gas that is breathed through the nose during the procedure. It is extremely safe, a great option for nervous children, and is immediately reversible. Moreover, it is perfect for mildly nervous adults.

Oral Sedation

Oral sedation comes in the form of a prescribed mild sedative that provides a more overall relaxing effect than nitrous oxide and can last through the length of the procedure. Patients will need a ride home after their visit.

[03]

IV Sedation

IV sedation is one step below general anesthesia and the patient can breath on his or her own, respond to verbal commands and retain all reflexes. The patient remains in a state of twilight where no memories are made or are not very vivid.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Let me take you on a tour of the Hanosh & Hunter office in Chico. (I'm a new patient.)  H&H is a modern, immaculate and comfortable office. When you walk in, the first thing you'll notice is a large photo/video screen showing  calming, and beautiful scenarios. Next thing is a refreshment center with a large selection of coffees, teas, sodas and water. Help yourself! You are greeted and taken to your treatment room, all set up and ready for you. H&H has a special sterilization room; instruments are sterilized to the level of surgical care. Your assistant, I had Mikala,  is welcoming and prepared for you. Your dentist arrives. I had Dr. Hanosh. He explains everything very carefully, ensuring all of your questions and concerns are addressed. Down to work! H&H uses high level technical equipment in their practice. You may notice some equipment you've not seen in other offices.  He is expert at injections, absolutely painless.  The same with all the procedures he performs. (At one point I felt like I could nod off!) Done.  Now you move to the administrative area and talk with a specialist about your bill. I talked with Macie. She is the most understanding and helpful person. She is in the right position. Dr. Hanosh (et.al) have hired the best staff in all categories. When they do have a vacancy, they have no problem with recuiting. The very best of dental office and paraprofessionals in the area keep their eyes open for the chance to work with H&H. If you go to H&H you will get the best, modern dental treatment by an accumulation of caring and friendly staff. Guarateed.

I became convinced that there really were no GREAT dentists left. And then I found Hanosh & Hunter Dental Group. The whole office acts as a team. They are incredibly friendly as well as professional. Their procedures and equipment are state of the art. I see Dr, Sanner, who explains everything very well. There is complete understanding before a treatment.  I needed extensive work and together we came up with a plan that actually has me excited. I can't ever remember being excited to see a dentist. I have finally found a Dentist I trust and like.
