Scott Hanosh, D D S
Dr. Scott Hanosh aka Dr. Scott grew up in the southwest. He received his bachelor of science in biology from Creighton University in 1985. He received his DDS degree from Creighton University in 1990.
He and his wife Michelle, and son Josh moved to Paradise in 1990.
He chose to practice general dentistry so that he could provide comprehensive care to the entire family. His passion to have a comprehensive practice led him to pursue many continuing education programs to broaden his skill set.
He and his wife, Michelle, loved living in Paradise for nearly 29 years, until the Campfire destroyed their town and home.
They chose to make their new home in Chico, soon after the fire. And Dr. Scott has been able to continue his dental practice in Paradise and expand it into the Chico community.
He and his wife consider themselves fortunate and blessed to be able to serve their community alongside such dedicated and wonderful team members. They are proud of the culture they have fostered in the Hanosh and Hunter Dental family.

Beau Hunter, D D S
Dr. G. Beau Hunter was born and raised in Gridley, CA. He grew up the oldest of five children, helping his father with farming rice, carpentry, and painting and drawing with his mom. After graduating from Gridley High School, he traveled to seven countries in Europe studying abroad, followed by a two-year church mission to Brazil where he learned to speak Portuguese. Beau then studied at BYU Idaho and attained his Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
In 2007, Beau married Shannon and moved to Columbus, Ohio, to attend dental school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Go Buckeyes! He won his dental school singing competition “DDS Idol” four years in a row. Following graduation, Dr. Hunter studied Sedation Dentistry and attained his I.V. Conscious Sedation License from USC.
He has been able to provide dental care for anxious patients, those who find it hard to “get numb”, and those with a severe gag reflex. Dr. Hunter’s experience offers unique and compassionate care to a wider range of people. His artistic ability offers pleasing results to his patients when making their smiles natural looking.
Beau and Shannon have three beautiful daughters, Tatum, Remi, and Primrose. Beau enjoys many forms of art, woodworking, and music. He plays guitar and the trumpet, he also builds his own guitars, and is currently taking piano lessons. He also built his desk from raw pieces of walnut from an orchard in Chico that he milled himself.
Renee Tanabe, D D S
Born and raised a local girl in Gridley, I am pleased to join Hanosh and Hunter to serve our community. I attended an international program in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico and graduated in 2010. I came home with valuable hands on experience, the ability to speak Spanish which is incredibly valuable in our agricultural community and a desire to come home to the community I grew up in and serve them.
In addition to loving dentistry, I have a cut flower farm specializing in unique seasonal blooms called Magnolia Flower Farm. I also breed Australian shepherds for their undying loyalty, extreme trainability and great companions on the ranch and farm. My eldest son Rylan plays baseball, loves swimming and has just enters TK! He is my first love and I married my second love, Justin, this past spring in beautiful Yosemite park.
I hope to see y’all at the office so we can talk about flowers and dogs as well as serve any dental needs you have.
Charles Sannar, D D S
Dr. Charles Sannar is a Gridley native. After high school, he served a two-year mission in Indiana for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His education began at Butte College where he studied Biology, then transferred to Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, to major in Pre-dental Zoology. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, IL. He and his wife, Kathy, of Paradise, met while they were students at BYU. They have been married 40 years and have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. After finishing dental school, they returned to raise their family in Gridley where their roots run deep in the farming communities of Northern California. He enjoys playing golf, cycling, off-road motorcycle riding, fishing, woodworking, and auto mechanics. He spent many years working as an auto mechanic with his father, Ray, of Shade Tree Garage.
Dr. Sannar is an experienced professional of 34 years, who has established himself as one of the premier dentists in the field. Known for catering to dental phobics, his approach is to develop a level of trust before proceeding with treatment. His expertise and passion in the field has consistently challenged and motivated him to deliver the care you are looking for. He continues to increase and enhance his knowledge through advanced training each year. His team has been hand-picked and highly trained, enabling him to provide you with the outstanding dental care you deserve.
He has completed numerous training programs that complement his academic career, which focuses on CEREC same-day cosmetic crowns, CT-guided implant placement, oral surgery, clear aligner tooth straightening, sedation dentistry, and cosmetic and general dental care.
Dr. Sannar's extensive and broad educational experience has helped shape him into one of the most skilled dentists in the area. His work continues to attract patients from various regions, even fellow doctors have experienced his care.
